Direct Bus Service Between Tokyo and Murodo Operates During Summer

Tokyu Bus, Seibu Sightseeing Bus, and Toyama Chihou Railway will operate the express charter bus service “Tokyo to Murodo Line” on a limited basis during the summer.

Buses leaving from the south exit of Tokyo Station (Marunouchi entrance) depart at 8:40 PM, passing through Shibuya Station (Fukuras), Tokyu Kabukicho Tower, Ikebukuro Station East Exit, Mitahara, and Tengudaira, arriving at Murodo at 7:00 AM. Buses leaving Murodo at 1:45 PM, pass through Tengudaira and Mitahara, arriving at Ikebukuro Station East Exit at 10:00 PM.

The service from Tokyo starts from July 12 to August 30, and from Murodo starts from July 13 to September 1. It operates mainly during weekends and the Obon holiday period. The operation is carried out alternately by Tokyu Bus, Seibu Sightseeing Bus, and Toyama Chihou Railway.

The one-way adult fare on the website starts from 17,000 yen from Tokyo and from 12,000 yen from Murodo, while onboard prices are 20,000 yen from Tokyo and 15,000 yen from Murodo. Child fares are half price.
