JR West to Operate the ‘Shobara Liner’ Rapid Service Between Hiroshima and Bingo-Shobara Station on Weekends from July 20 to August 25

JR West Japan will operate the rapid ‘Shobara Liner’ service from Hiroshima to Bingo-Shobara Station on the Geibi Line on weekends from July 20 to August 25.

The service will run once a day, extending the usual operating section of the ‘Miyoshi Liner’ rapid service. Intermediate stops include Yaga, Tosaka, Akiyaguchi, Kuzumi, Shimofukawa, Shiwa口, Mukaihara, Kōdachi, and Miyoshi Stations, with the schedule setting departure from Hiroshima Station at 9:00 am and arrival at Bingo-Shobara Station at 10:56 am.

Bihoku Transportation will adjust the timetable of direct buses to the National Bihoku Hillside Park departing from Bingo-Shobara Station to align with this train service. The Shobara Station Area Community Development Council will hold the ‘Shobara Ekimae Festa’ on July 20, and also provide souvenirs for those who ride on August 24 and 25.
