Korean Air Introduces the Latest Boeing 787-10 Aircraft with Private Suites in Business Class on Tokyo/Narita Route
Qatar Airways unveiled its new business class, the ‘Qsuite Next Gen’, at the Farnborough Airshow.
This latest version of the highly acclaimed ‘Qsuite’ features a 23 inches wide seat, a seat pitch of 100 inches, and a bed length of 80 inches. The armrests and privacy dividers are electrically adjustable, and the personal control unit is touchscreen operated. It also includes wireless chargers, 110V AC outlets, USB-A/C ports, and lockable storage.
The monitor is 22 inches and employs Panasonic Avionics’ Astrova 4K OLED technology. While the functionality allowing the middle four seats to face each other and open up remains unchanged, the addition of retractable monitors allows for a more spacious suite experience.
The Quad Suite option, which allows for the partitioning of four seats, offers expanded dining spaces and increased privacy due to taller partitions. It includes large full-flat double beds.
Installation on Boeing 777-9 aircraft is planned by 2025, with installations on other aircraft types yet to be determined.
At the Farnborough Airshow, Qatar Airways is also showcasing the Boeing 787-9 and Gulfstream G700 aircraft.
