ZIPAIR Tokyo Launches ‘Seat Plus’ for In-flight Additional Seat Purchases
ANA Begins Selling Upcycled Products Made from Retired Airplane Seat Covers
The ANA Group started selling upcycled products on July 22, utilizing seat covers from Boeing 737-700 aircraft.
Following the retirement of the Boeing 737-700 aircraft at the end of June 2021, ANA Wings spearheaded the initiative within the group to create upcycled products from discarded aircraft parts. Since the product uses seat covers from already retired aircraft, there are no plans for additional production, and the sale is limited to available stock only.
The products include a tote bag made from premium class seat covers (22,000 yen), a gadget pouch (11,000 yen) and a makeup pouch (9,900 yen) made from economy class seat covers, and a flight tag (2,200 yen), totaling four items. These products are available for purchase at the ANA Excitement Shop within ANA Mall, with all prices including tax.
