T’way Air to Launch Seoul/Incheon to Rome Route on August 8, Operating Three Round Trips per Week

T’way Air will inaugurate its Seoul/Incheon to Rome route on August 8.

The service will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, employing an Airbus A330-200 with 18 Business Class seats and 228 Economy Class seats, totaling 246 seats.

The European Commission (EC) mandated T’way Air’s entry into the Seoul/Incheon to Rome, Barcelona, Frankfurt, and Paris routes as a condition for approving the merger of Korean Air and Asiana Airlines. The Seoul/Incheon to Frankfurt route is scheduled to commence in October, and the Seoul/Incheon to Paris route is expected to start following agreements between the aviation authorities of both countries.
