T’way Airlines to Launch Seoul/Incheon to Barcelona Route from August 8, Operating Three Round Trips a Week

T’way Airlines is set to launch a new route from Seoul/Incheon to Barcelona on September 11.

The route will operate three round trips a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Flight services will be provided using Airbus A330-200 aircraft, equipped with 18 business class and 228 economy class seats, adding up to a total of 246 seats.

The European Commission (EC) had stipulated the entry of T’way Airlines into the Seoul/Incheon to Rome, Barcelona, Frankfurt, and Paris routes as a condition for the approval of the merger between Korean Air and Asiana Airlines. The Seoul/Incheon to Frankfurt route is scheduled for October, and the Seoul/Incheon to Paris route will commence following an agreement between the aviation authorities of both countries.
