Cross Hotel Kyoto will offer the giant salamander-themed room, “OH! san View Room”, from July 13th to October 31st.
After ending sales at the end of September 2023 and receiving many requests for its return, the hotel decided to bring back the room for a limited time. This time, the theme, “Giant Salamander’s Homecoming”, involves more than 80 life-size (about 1.5 meters long) giant salamander wall sticker decals, applied in a one-way direction towards the direction of the Kyoto Aquarium, decorating the walls of the room, bathroom, washroom, and toilet.
The accommodation plan is divided into two parts: the summer version in the first half includes giant salamander-themed room wear and a coloring book. This offer is available from July 13th to August 31st. The price for a one-night stay for two people, including breakfast at the “KIHARU Brasserie” restaurant & bar, starts from 55,332 yen, including tax and service charges, but excluding accommodation tax.
To celebrate its revival, a campaign will be held in which three people can win a stay at Cross Hotel Kyoto or a giant salamander plush toy among other prizes.
