Air France has named its newly introduced Airbus A350-900 aircraft (registration number: F-HUVJ) ‘Paris’.
Since 2019, the airline has revived the tradition of naming its aircraft after French cities. This aircraft follows Lyon, Saint-Denis of Reunion, and Grasse that are currently in operation.
The aircraft is configured with 48 seats in Business Class, 32 seats in Premium Economy Class, and 212 seats in Economy Class. As an official partner of the Paris Olympics and Paralympics, the aircraft also features the official logo. Its inaugural flight took off on July 18th in the afternoon from Paris to Hong Kong.
For the Paris Olympics and Paralympics, it is expected to transport 15% of Olympic athletes and 35% of Paralympic athletes, with a peak summer daily usage anticipated to be up to 125,000 passengers. New advertising campaigns will be displayed around the Paris competition venues and airports.
