Hotel Biwa Lake Otsuka has started operations from July 1st after renovating all the rooms in its main building.
In addition to transforming 4 Japanese-style rooms into Western-style, making 14 out of 28 rooms Western-style, a fireplace using bioethanol was installed in the lobby. Large windows that can be opened from the baths, facing the inner gardens, were also installed in both “Omatsumatsu no Yu” and “Maiko no Yu”. To celebrate the reopening, an original pop-up doll “Tobi-ta-kun” created by Hisada Kogyo was placed on site.
