West Japan Railway Company (JR West) will be hosting a public day at the Hakusan General Rolling Stock Center on September 21.
This will be the first public day event since 2019, making it a five-year wait. The event plans to include hands-on experiences related to the rolling stock center’s work, mini-Shinkansen rides, snowplow demonstrations, and an event corner.
The event will run in three parts: 10 AM, 12 PM, and 2 PM, each lasting two hours. Entrance is free, and the capacity is limited to 3,000 participants who can apply via a QR code available on the website. The application period is from August 1 to August 20.
