Oedo Onsen Monogatari Hotels & Resorts announced the rebranding and reopening of ‘Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Hotel Soukan’ on July 15.
Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium is a high-end brand that offers a premium lounge and a superior buffet service. Since 2023, it has been moving forward with the project to renew its facilities into the Premium series, making this the sixth establishment nationwide and the first in the Tohoku area. Another two facilities, Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Kinugawa Kanko Hotel and Atami, are scheduled to open on July 22.
Out of the total 133 rooms, 67 rooms have been renovated, with 28 rooms transformed into Japanese-modern rooms featuring beds installed in tatami-matted areas. In addition, the lobby lounge has been upgraded to a premium lounge, offering a variety of drinks including beer, wine, and ice candies.
An outdoor terrace has been newly established in the courtyard. It is furnished with chairs, tables, and elliptical sofa beds where guests can lounge, along with immersive audio technology installed.
