Tokyo Bus will conduct a demonstration operation of the “Chatan Direct Shuttle Bus” from July 25 to September 23.
The operation routes are: Route A from Naha Airport / Kokusai Dori Entrance to Mihama American Village, and Route B from Onna Village Resort Area to Mihama American Village. Route B departs from The Busena Terrace, passing through Oriental Hotel Okinawa Resort & Spa, Okinawa Kariyushi Beach Resort Ocean Spa, Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island Okinawa, InterContinental ANA Manza Beach Resort, and Sheraton Okinawa Sunmarina Resort. The bus stop for Naha Airport is located on the 1st floor of Domestic Terminal, Bus Stop No.1, for Kokusai Dori Entrance in front of Department Store Ryubo, and for Mihama American Village at Chatan Town Mihama Parking Area Traffic Plaza.
Route A operates 9 round trips from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every hour, and Route B operates 8 round trips from around 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. roughly every hour to an hour and a half. The fare for Route A is 1,000 yen, and for Route B, 1,500 yen. Children’s fares are half price, and Tokyo Bus day passes or other free passes cannot be used.
From July 25, it began supporting IC cards for public transportation. The applicable routes are the “Chatan Direct Shuttle Bus,” TK03 “Ryukyu Hotel Airport Limousine” (daily), and TK04 “Senaga Island Hotel Airport Limousine” (weekends and holidays only). Nationwide mutual-use IC cards are accepted.
