Choice Hotels Japan has announced the opening of Comfort Inn Karuizawa on July 11.
This is a rebranding of the former Chisun Inn Karuizawa. The two-story building houses a total of 89 rooms. All rooms feature the original pillows ‘Choice Pillow’ and ‘Choice Bed Pad’ developed in collaboration with a bedding manufacturer, and some double rooms are equipped with lofts. In the case of children sleeping with an adult, children of elementary school age or younger can stay for free.
For breakfast, under the concept of ‘Fun Every Morning “Full Stomach” Morning’, a range of options including exclusive croissants, roll cakes, berry cheesecakes, daily-changing curry rice, bread, salad, and daily side dishes are offered. The price for adults is 1,200 yen on the day and 1,100 yen for advance purchase, both excluding tax. There are 90 free parking spaces available.
The access to the hotel is about a 14-minute drive from the Usui-Karuizawa Interchange on the Joshinetsu Expressway and about a 5-minute drive from JR Karuizawa Station.
