Thai AirAsia to Launch Bangkok/Don Mueang-Tiruchirappalli Route on September 21
Thai AirAsia will launch a route from Bangkok/Don Mueang to Tiruchirappalli on September 21.
The route will operate three round trips a week on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The flight duration is 3 hours and 35 minutes from Bangkok/Don Mueang and 3 hours and 30 minutes from Tiruchirappalli. The Airbus A320neo will be used for this route.
Tiruchirappalli is a city in the Tamil Nadu state of India. It is a center of commerce, industry, and education, and home to tourist attractions such as the world’s largest Hindu temple, the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple.
Thai AirAsia operates 53 weekly round trips on 11 routes connecting Bangkok with Kolkata, Chennai, Jaipur, Kochi, Bangalore, Gaya, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Visakhapatnam. The majority of passengers on the Thailand-India routes are Indian, with an average seat occupancy rate of 88%.
