Rihga Royal Hotel Kyoto will start offering the ‘Rihga Train Room Series 776’ from August 2, 2024, to March 30, 2025.
Located along the JR Kyoto Line and the San’in Main Line (Sagano Line), the hotel provides a one-of-a-kind concept room stay plan, where guests can enjoy watching various types of trains pass by. This room, available on a one-room-per-day basis, has been newly renovated with this original concept.
The walls of the room feature a large illustration of the ‘Series 500 (Shinkansen Nozomi),’ along with a collective photo of ‘Series 700 (Shinkansen Nozomi), Dr. Yellow, N700 Series (Sakura & Mizuho).’ Additionally, a map of the JR West Kinki Area routes has been designed along one of the walls. The door, closet, and bathroom are decorated with train stickers focusing on trains running in the Kansai region and pictogram signs used in actual trains, such as ‘Reserved Seat’ and ‘Restroom.’
The price per person for a room shared by two guests starts from 42,300 yen for a room-only plan, and from 47,500 yen for a plan including breakfast.
