Hotel Metropolitan Kawasaki Offers ‘Parfait à l’Orange et au Café’ Until September 30
Hotel Metropolitan Kawasaki is offering ‘Parfait à l’Orange et au Café’ from August 1 to September 30, limited to 10 servings per day.
The orange is transformed in five ways: ‘fresh’, ‘compote’, ‘caramelized’, ‘semi-dried’, and ‘blood orange sorbet’, creating a well-balanced blend of sweetness and refreshing acidity. It is topped with coffee ice cream, tuiles, and crumble, with a hint of bitterness as an accent. Furthermore, by choosing two out of five custom toppings, including chocolate, honey, and pearl cracker, a pastry chef will finish it off as an original parfait. Additionally, an orange liqueur ‘Cointreau’ and a coffee sauce containing orange pulp are provided on the side.
The location is the all-day dining ‘Terrace and Table’. It’s available from 3 PM to 5 PM. The price is 2,500 yen, including tax and service charges.
