Solaseed Air to Change Mileage Requirements for Award Tickets

Solaseed Air will make changes to the Solaseed Smile Club’s mileage accrual and exchange starting from flights on October 27.

The airline will change the number of miles needed for award tickets and eliminate the discount for round-trip exchanges. While the mileage required for one-way tickets will be reduced, the mileage for round trips on many routes will be increased. The Tokyo/Haneda to Okinawa/Naha route, in particular, will see a significant increase.

Additionally, the airline will change the sector miles and the mileage accrual rate based on fares. The accrual rate for adult regular fares, Solaseed biz discounts, and Solaseed card discount EX will be 150%, while the rate for special sale fares and Solaseed card discounts, among others, will be 100%. Bargain fares such as Bargain 14/28/35 will see an increase to 75%.
