Scoot Takes Delivery of Two Additional Embraer E190-E2 Aircraft, Expands Service to Kertajati and Malacca
Scoot has taken delivery of two new Embraer E190-E2 aircraft, expanding its service to Kertajati in Indonesia and Malacca in Malaysia.
The aircraft were introduced through a lease agreement with Azorra, becoming the third and fourth of nine aircraft ordered. The seats are arranged in a ‘2-2’ configuration, providing a total of 112 seats.
With the introduction of this aircraft type, Scoot will commence twice weekly services from Singapore to Kertajati from September 28 and five times weekly services from Singapore to Malacca from October 23. This expands the carrier’s network to 72 cities, further extending its reach into Southeast Asia’s regional cities.
Additionally, the same aircraft type will be deployed on the routes from Singapore to Pekanbaru, Balikpapan, Makassar, Davao, and Vientiane from October to December.
