Sumapp is set to open “Sumiyoshi Village Tanegashima” in late August.
This container hotel caters to the long-term accommodation demand related to the Ministry of Defense’s Mageshima development project. It features a total of 192 rooms. Starting in October, it plans to permanently offer “Sefuro,” a seaside open-air bath where seawater is heated for bathing, once popular on Tanegashima. The hotel will also provide a breakfast buffet using local vegetables, as well as daily changing boxed lunches and set meals.
A “Special Plan for Mageshima Development Project Personnel” is available for a limited number of 100 rooms. Depending on the number of contracts, laundry services will be offered for exclusive use. Rates start from 6,800 yen.
