JAL to End Mileage Partnership with Vistara on September 30

Japan Airlines (JAL) will terminate its mileage partnership with Vistara on September 30.

Mile accrual for flights operated under the Vistara flight number will be available until September 30, and web registrations will no longer be possible from mid-September. Mileage accrual will continue to be available for flights operated under the JAL flight number, including code-share flights. Additionally, the acceptance of new reservations for award tickets will only be valid for flights until September 30, with all booked itineraries from October 1 onwards being refunded.

Vistara is an airline based in India, which began code-sharing on domestic flights in India in February 2019, and started issuing award tickets through the JAL Mileage Bank from July 2020. The partnership is terminating following the merger with Air India.
