All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Japan Airlines (JAL) have suspended the acceptance of passengers waiting for available seats on all domestic group flights at Haneda Airport today, August 8th.
The suspension applies to all flights on all routes. This is due to delays and cancellations of numerous flights to and from Haneda Airport on August 7th caused by thunderstorms in the vicinity, which resulted in a large number of passengers needing to change their reservations.
In addition, there is a possibility of further impacts on flight operations, such as delays and cancellations, on the afternoon of August 8th at Haneda Airport due to the avoidance of thunderclouds, resulting in air route congestion and the suspension of ground operations.
