In response to the temporary information issued for the potential Nankai Trough earthquake (major earthquake alert), Kintetsu Railway is implementing changes in the destination and stopping stations of some of its express trains from August 9th to 15th.
The suspension affects the express trains operating between Isuzugawa and Kashikojima stations, altering the destination of certain express trains from Osaka Namba, Kyoto, and Kintetsu Nagoya towards Kashikojima to either “Ujiyamada” or “Isuzugawa.” Additionally, there will be changes to the stopping stations of express trains operating between Osaka Namba and Kintetsu Nagoya. The stopping stations will be Osaka Uehommachi, Tsuruhashi, Yamato-Yagi, Tsu, Shirako, Kintetsu Yokkaichi, and Kuwana stations.
It is indicated that depending on future circumstances, there may be further suspensions, delays, changes in stopping stations, or alterations in operational sections of trains.
