JR Kyushu Jet Ferry Suspends Operation of ‘Queen Beetle’ For The Time Being
JR Kyushu Jet Ferry will suspend its operations from August 13 for the time being because the measures listed in the improvement report submitted to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in July 2023 have not been implemented.
While the date for resuming operations remains undecided, reservations up to September 30 will be canceled progressively. Acceptance of new reservations will also be suspended until November 25.
For those who have made reservations, cancellations will be processed without a fee. As there are no alternative flights available, passengers scheduled to board by August 19 will each receive support in the sum of 20,000 yen, while passengers with reservations from August 20 to September 30 will receive 10,000 yen each.
