Emirates to Deploy Upgraded Boeing 777-300ER Aircraft on Two More Routes: Zurich and Riyadh

Emirates Airline is set to introduce its upgraded Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on two additional routes.

Starting October 1st, the aircraft will be deployed on the Dubai to Zurich and Riyadh routes. Additionally, from September 22nd, the Dubai to Geneva route and from October 9th, the Dubai to Brussels route will see an increase in service to twice a day and thirteen times a week, respectively, with all flights operated by the upgraded aircraft. Emirates has already announced the deployment of these aircraft on the Dubai to Tokyo/Haneda route from September 1st.

The upgraded Boeing 777-300ER aircraft will feature a new Premium Economy class in a “2-4-2” configuration with 24 seats, while Business Class seats are refreshed similar to those on the Airbus A380 with a “1-2-1” configuration and 38 seats, including a small bar for snacks. Economy Class will have 256 seats.

Including the Airbus A380, Emirates has already upgraded 25 aircraft this year and plans to upgrade an additional 17 by the end of the year. Premium Economy class will be available on 28 routes.
