American Express has ended the transfer of points from its Membership Rewards program to Finnair’s Finnair Plus as of August 12.
For Membership Rewards Plus members, the exchange rate was 1,250 points to 1,000 miles, for non-registered members, it was 2,000 points to 1,000 miles, and holders of the two types of Sky Traveler Cards could exchange 1,000 points for 1,000 miles.
Finnair Plus adopts the common currency Avios. By linking an account with the British Airways Executive Club, transferring points becomes possible.
