Japan Airlines (JAL) Group will cease accepting passengers on standby for empty seats on domestic flights at Haneda Airport starting August 17.
This applies to all routes and all departure flights. The decision is due to cancellations and delays affecting numerous flights arriving and departing from Tokyo/Haneda, resulting from Typhoon No. 7.
For August 17, JAL has already decided to cancel 36 domestic flights.
