Japan Airlines (JAL) has started allowing tickets for the September Grand Sumo Tournament to be exchanged for miles from the JAL Mileage Bank.
The tournament will be held at the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, from September 8th to 22nd. The seats available for exchange and required miles are as follows: Masu A1 seats (maximum 4 people) for 60,000 to 80,000 miles, and Chair S seats (for 2 people) for 20,000 to 24,000 miles. Tickets will be mailed to the registered address after September 2nd.
In addition, JAL is offering exchange options for tickets to see the Yomiuri Giants, Softbank Hawks, Nippon-Ham Fighters, and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
