The Nagasaki Marriott Hotel will host the ‘Nagasaki x South France Provence’ Fair from July 16th to August 31st.
The fair, commemorating the half-year anniversary of the hotel’s opening, will feature “Nagasaki French” cuisine that can only be experienced here and now, themed around “local production for local consumption” and utilizing local Nagasaki ingredients. The limited lunch course “Beau Ciel” menu includes: a Nice-style salad with tuna and fruit tomato “M Style”, cold cream soup with Shimabara-produced sweet corn and foie gras terrine, Nagasaki beef stewed in Provence style “Daube”, and a South French ice cake “Nougat Glace”. The targeted lunch course is offered at a special discounted price of 1,000 yen off. Prices are Le Ciel at 4,500 yen (weekdays only) and Beau Ciel at 5,500 yen, including service charges and taxes.
A South France Rose Wine Fair will be held concurrently. The synonym for Provence wine, “Rose Wine”, is characterized by its light and fruity taste. A selection of rose wines that complement the course meals has been carefully chosen.
