
JAL Unveils ‘DREAM SHO JET’ A350 Featuring MLB Star Shohei Ohtani, Marking First MLB Themed Plane in 21 Years Since Matsui
Japan Airlines (JAL) has delayed the retirement of its first Boeing 777-300ER aircraft by one day from the originally planned schedule.
The first aircraft to be retired, JA734J, is scheduled to depart Sydney at 8:15 AM on August 20th, arriving at Tokyo/Haneda at 5:05 PM on flight JL52.
The cabin configuration includes 8 seats in the First Class “JAL SUITE” in a “1-2-1” layout, 49 seats in Business Class “JAL SKY SUITE” in a “2-3-2” layout, 40 seats in Premium Economy Class “JAL SKY PREMIUM” in a “2-3-2” layout, and 147 seats in Economy Class “JAL SKY WIDER” in a “3-3-3” layout, totaling 244 seats.
JAL possesses 13 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft for its long-haul international routes. With the introduction of the Airbus A350-1000 as the new flagship for international flights, these aircraft will be retired in phases.
