Keifuku Bus Expands the Range of Brands for Contactless Payments on Three Routes Including Komatsu Airport Shuttle
Keifuku Bus has expanded the range of brands it accepts for contactless payments from July 26th on three routes it operates.
This expansion is in collaboration with Hokkoku Credit Service, JCB (Japan Credit Bureau), and QUADRAC.
Previously, only Visa cards were accepted, but now JCB, American Express, Diners Club, and Discover cards will also be accepted. Riders can board the bus by touching a card or a smartphone with the card’s information set to it onto a dedicated reader. The targeted routes are the Komatsu Airport Shuttle, the Eiheiji Liner, and the Asakura-Eiheiji Direct Bus (operated by Fukui Transportation).
