Rakuten Card will be changing the provision method and service content of the ‘Priority Pass’, offered by the Collinson Group, attached to some of its cards.
From January 2025, the membership cards will transition to a digital membership card using an app. Card usage will be discontinued from February. This shift allows for the immediate issuance of the digital membership card upon application. Lounge information and usage history can be checked on the app.
From the same month, the number of times the lounge can be used for free will be limited to five times a year for Rakuten Premium Card members. Rakuten Black Card members will continue to have unlimited access. The usage count is based on a one-year period starting from the date of issuance.
