
Korean Air and Partners Establish Ground Handling Company in Japan, Operations Begin at New Chitose Airport
AIRDO will operate a total of 64 flights a day across 11 domestic routes during the winter schedule period starting October 27.
There will be 12 round trips a day on the Tokyo/Haneda to Sapporo/Chitose route, 3 round trips on both Tokyo/Haneda to Asahikawa/Obihiro and Sapporo/Chitose to Sendai routes, 2 round trips on Tokyo/Haneda to Hakodate/Memanbetsu/Kushiro and Sapporo/Chitose to Kobe routes, and 1 round trip on Sapporo/Chitose to Fukuoka and Nagoya/Chubu to Sapporo/Chitose/Hakodate routes.
The airline will operate nighttime flights throughout the period on the Tokyo/Haneda to Sapporo/Chitose route, and on specific days, will upscale the aircraft for flight ADO39 from Tokyo/Haneda to Sapporo/Chitose and flights ADO57/58 on the Tokyo/Haneda to Hakodate route. Additional flights will be scheduled for the Tokyo/Haneda to Memanbetsu route in accordance with the ice drift season.
Ticket sales will commence from August 27.
