Japan Airlines (JAL) will hold a ‘Double Shopping Miles with Apple Pay’ campaign on August 20 and 25, September 20 and 25, through its smartphone payment service ‘JAL Pay’.
By registering and using ‘JAL Pay’ for Apple Pay payments on the specified dates domestically, users will receive one bonus mile for every 200 yen spent. The maximum number of bonus miles one can earn per month is 500, which will be credited by the end of the second month following the month of use.
Charges to transportation IC cards, WAON, nanaco, and ANA Pay, among other electronic money systems, are not eligible for bonus mile accumulation. ‘JAL Pay’ can be used at Mastercard contactless payment participating stores and QUICPay＋ (Quick Pay Plus) participating stores.
