Choice Hotels Japan has launched the “Comfort Inn Kagoshima Taniyama” on August 1.
This is a rebrand of the former Chisun Inn Kagoshima Taniyama. The building is 10 stories high, with a total of 217 rooms in 8 different types including rooms with loft beds, a suite with a panoramic view of Kagoshima City and Sakurajima, and Japanese-style rooms. All rooms are non-smoking, and children in elementary school and younger can stay for free when sharing a bed.
Breakfast is served at the first-floor restaurant “Konpiramaru,” offering a buffet of mainly Japanese dishes, including sashimi and curry. The facility also features a free parking lot and coin laundry, along with a welcome drink service.
Access is approximately 9 minutes by car from JR Ibusuki Makurazaki Line Taniyama Station and about 11 minutes by car from the Ibusuki Skyline Taniyama Interchange (IC).
