Malaysia Airlines resumed operations of its Kuala Lumpur to Male route on August 1st.
The route operates one round trip daily using Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The flight duration is 4 hours and 15 minutes from Kuala Lumpur and 4 hours and 35 minutes from Male. This marks the airline’s first entry into the Maldives since 2017.
Currently, AirAsia operates two round trips daily on this route, and Batik Air Malaysia operates one round trip. This expansion brings the airline’s reach in South Asia to 13 cities.
