Skymark Starts Offering Flight Cancellation Insurance in Collaboration with Dai-ichi Smart
Skymark and Dai-ichi Smart Special Small Amount Short Term Insurance have begun offering the “Skymark Supportive Flight Cancellation Insurance” starting August 20.
With the product concept of “delivering peace of mind simply,” the insurance incorporates actively the voices of fans and ideas from Generation Z students. It provides a straightforward and inexpensive insurance premium, covering situations such as event cancellations or delays at the destination, or sudden hospital admissions of family members or pets, making it a simple yet distinctive product designed for the inevitable cancellation of flight tickets.
The premium is 500 yen per segment, per seat. The insurance applies to flight tickets purchased individually through the official website, and payment of the insurance premium by credit card is required at the time of insurance application. The application period is within 7 days of purchasing the flight ticket and up to 7 days before the first flight date.
