Finnair has announced the appointment of Mr. Pasi Kuusisto as Vice President responsible for the Asia region, effective July 1.
Mr. Kuusisto has held several key positions in revenue management, pricing strategy, and global sales, and he most recently served as General Manager for the North America region. He has worked in London and Dallas, collaborating with transatlantic route joint business partners. He will continue his duties in Dallas until the beginning of 2025, afterwards relocating his base to Japan.
Mr. Kuusisto stated, “It is a great honor to assume the role of Vice President for the Asia region, and I am looking forward to working with the wonderful and experienced team in Japan and other parts of Asia. I am committed to leading Finnair to further success in the Asian market, starting with Japan, and to enhancing Finnair’s presence as the connector between Japan, Asia, Europe, and North America.”
