Japan Airlines (JAL) will operate additional flights today, August 30, on the Tokyo/Haneda to Nagoya/Chubu and Osaka/Itami routes.
The Tokyo/Haneda to Nagoya/Chubu route will be served with Boeing 737-800 aircraft, and the Tokyo/Haneda to Osaka/Itami route will be operated with two flights using Airbus A350−900 aircraft.
Additionally, four flights on the Tokyo/Haneda to Osaka/Itami route will be upgraded from Boeing 737-800 aircraft to larger Airbus A350-900 and Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.
Due to the entire day planned suspension of the Tokaido Shinkansen between Mishima and Nagoya stations on August 30, both routes are nearly fully booked.
