Uber has started its taxi dispatch service ‘Uber Taxi’ in Urayasu City, Chiba Prefecture, using the Uber app from August 28.
Users can request rides through the Uber app, and enjoy features such as sharing estimated arrival times, GPS tracking, splitting fares with fellow riders, and checking past ride histories.
The service area covers the entire city. This makes Urayasu the second city in Chiba Prefecture to launch the service, following Narita.
