Karuizawa Prince Hotel West is offering the ‘Nagano Prefecture Shine Muscat Art Parfait’ and the ‘Obuse Chestnut Mont Blanc Art Parfait’.
In September, the ‘Nagano Prefecture Shine Muscat Art Parfait’ (5,000 yen) features a bouquet of Shine Muscats, jellies of citrus fruits like lemon and lime, and Haagen-Dazs “Luxury Grape Creamy Gelato” ice cream, topped with a three-dimensional butterfly crafted from white chocolate. As a pairing, a ‘Green Champagne’ with the flavor of lime juice and fresh mint is prepared.
In October, the ‘Obuse Chestnut Mont Blanc Art Parfait’ (4,000 yen) is inspired by the thirteenth night, imagining the autumn mountains browning with the overlapping crescent moon. It combines cassis, pear, red wine, raspberry, Haagen-Dazs “Rum Raisin” ice cream with Obuse chestnut Mont Blanc, and is topped with Obuse chestnut candied peel. As a pairing, a ‘Red Champagne’ with peach juice from Nagano Prefecture’s Chikuma City, apricot brandy, and pomegranate syrup is prepared.
