Etihad Airways will introduce the Airbus A380 aircraft on the Abu Dhabi-Singapore route starting February 1, 2025.
This will be in line with the resumption of the operations of their sixth Airbus A380 aircraft. The cities where the aircraft has already been deployed include London Heathrow, New York’s John F. Kennedy, and Paris Charles de Gaulle, making Singapore the fourth city on this list.
The Airbus A380 aircraft features The Residence with 3 rooms, 9 First Apartments, 70 Business Studios, and 405 Economy Smart Seats. Additionally, the Economy class boasts 80 spacious Economy Space seats with a seat pitch of up to 36 inches. The Residence is offered as an option, and can be utilized by paying an additional fee after purchasing a First Class ticket. There is also The Lobby, exclusive to First and Business Class passengers.
