Rakuten Insurance Planning, Rakuten Ticket, and AWP TicketGuard Minor Short-Term Insurance have launched a one-stop application service for ‘TicketGuard’, which compensates for the cost of unused tickets for purchasers via Rakuten Ticket.
TicketGuard is an insurance product that alleviates the anxiety of wasting ticket costs due to unforeseen circumstances such as sudden illness or injury, unexpected business trips requiring overnight stays, or family hospitalizations, making it impossible to attend the event for which the ticket was purchased. Although Rakuten Ticket has been offering this insurance, the new service now enables one-stop application and payment of the premium at the time of ticket purchase.
Applications must be made within five days after purchasing the ticket, and it is not possible to apply for only part of the tickets purchased in a single transaction.
