Japan Airlines (JAL) will be significantly changing the operation schedule for the Tokyo/Haneda to Doha route starting from the winter schedule, which begins on October 27.
The JL59 flight departing from Tokyo/Haneda will depart at 11:30 PM, arriving in Doha at 6:55 AM the next day. The flight duration will be 13 hours and 25 minutes. This is a departure from Tokyo/Haneda 40 minutes later and an arrival in Doha 2 hours and 15 minutes later than the current schedule.
The JL50 flight departing from Doha will depart at 9:20 AM, arriving in Tokyo/Haneda at 1:00 AM the next day. The flight duration will be 9 hours and 40 minutes. This is a departure from Doha 2 hours and 5 minutes later, and an arrival in Tokyo/Haneda 1 hour and 5 minutes later than the current schedule. Access to the city center will be limited to the late-night buses heading towards Shinjuku and Ikebukuro departing at 1:40 AM and 2:20 AM.
The flights will operate using a Boeing 787-9 aircraft equipped with 52 business class seats, 35 premium economy class seats, and 116 economy class seats, totaling 203 seats.
Currently, users of business class on the JL50 flight, which is code-shared with QR4850 flight, are offered taxi tickets.
