AirAsia has announced the launch of its Subang-Kuching and Subang-Kota Kinabalu routes, resuming flights to Subang Airport starting from August 30.
The airline will operate two round trips per day on both routes. The arrival of the first flight from Kuching was welcomed by the management of Capital A and AirAsia, complete with a water salute. Being close to downtown Kuala Lumpur, it complements the existing Kuala Lumpur routes and is planned to become the sixth hub in Malaysia in the future.
Subang is an airport located in the suburbs of Kuala Lumpur, and it was once used as Kuala Lumpur International Airport. This marks AirAsia’s return to Subang 24 years after its inaugural flight.
