Yokohama Grand Intercontinental Hotel Offers ‘Dim Sum Afternoon Tea’ Starting September 1 – Limited to 20 Meals a Day
The Yokohama Grand Intercontinental Hotel will offer ‘Dim Sum Afternoon Tea’ from September 1 to December 15.
The dim sum includes a total of eight traditional dishes made with mountain and sea ingredients, such as “Steamed Oyster Sauce Roll with Yuba”, “Cantonese-style Siu Mai”, “Steamed Shrimp Dumplings”, and “Steamed Dumplings with Shrimp and Tobiko”, each carefully crafted by a dim sum chef and served fresh. For dessert dim sum, there is a selection of five types, including the signature ripe mango pudding, “Almond Tofu”, and “Coconut Steamed Dumplings”. Drinks include a sparkling cocktail for toasting and Chinese tea.
The location is at the 31st-floor Chinese restaurant “Huaiyang”. It is available in two-hour slots starting at 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM. The price is 8,200 yen for a course with freely switchable nine types of Chinese tea, and 7,700 yen for a course with one type of Chinese tea.
