LOT Polish Airlines will inaugurate the Warsaw-Lisbon route on February 3, 2025.
It will operate 5 round trips per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and will increase to one round trip per day from the 24th. The route will utilize the Boeing 737-8 aircraft and is scheduled for year-round operation. The flight duration will be 4 hours and 25 minutes from Warsaw, and 4 hours and 5 minutes from Lisbon.
This will be the third route that connects Poland with the Iberian Peninsula, following Madrid and Barcelona. Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, is rich in tourist attractions such as historical buildings and serves as an ideal stopover for travelers to Porto and the Algarve region. The number of tourists from Poland to Portugal has increased by more than 20% over pre-COVID levels, exceeding 330,000.
