Plan・Do・See announces the opening of Southgate Hotel Okinawa in fall 2025.
The hotel will have its grand opening in the passenger terminal building “Tomarin” at Tomari Port, which connects the Okinawa main island with surrounding islands, taking over operations from Kariyushi Urban Resort Naha.
The building will be 15 stories high, featuring a total of 217 rooms primarily based on twin and triple configurations, offering guests the choice of either a harbor view overlooking the expansive sea or a city view encompassing the Naha skyline.
The facility will include four banquet halls, suitable for small private parties to large-scale events, seminars, and international conferences. Additionally, the hotel will feature a chapel on upper floors offering panoramic views of the sea, and a venue capable of hosting up to 400 guests, allowing for private, casual weddings with the option of renting out the entire floor.
Access to the hotel is approximately 30 minutes by bus from Naha Airport to the nearest bus stop in front of Tomarin (Tomari Takahashi), about 10 minutes on foot from Miebashi Station on the Yui Rail, and about 20 minutes by car from Naha Airport.
