United Airlines to Launch Tokyo/Narita to Koror Route in Summer 2025 Schedule
British Airways to Suspend London/Heathrow to Beijing/Daxing Route from October 25
British Airways will end operations on the London/Heathrow to Beijing/Daxing route on October 25.
Currently, flights depart from London/Heathrow on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, with return flights from Beijing/Daxing on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, operating four round trips per week. The aircraft used is the Boeing 777-200ER. The flight times are approximately 11 and a half hours from London/Heathrow and 13 hours and 20 minutes from Beijing/Daxing.
Between Beijing and London, Air China operates three round trips per day, and China Southern Airlines operates one round trip per day. Chinese airlines can fly through Russian airspace, which continues to give them a cost advantage and a trend of falling fares on European routes.
This route is British Airways’ only mainland China route, marking the end of its mainland China services.
