Starlux Airlines is set to deploy the Airbus A330-900 on routes from Sendai, Fukuoka, and Kumamoto to Taipei/Taoyuan.
The Sendai to Taipei/Taoyuan route will see one round trip per day starting October 27, with the Fukuoka and Kumamoto to Taipei/Taoyuan routes seeing up to one round trip per day from the same date, replacing the Airbus A321neo. This increase in seat capacity aims to boost revenue on Japanese routes where fares are rising.
Starlux Airlines received its sixth Airbus A350-900 at the end of August. The company plans to add two more aircraft within the year, expanding its fleet to a total of 25 aircraft.
