Starlux Airlines will reduce the number of flights on the Hakodate to Taipei/Taoyuan route for the winter schedule.
Currently, the airline operates five round trips a week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. From October 27, which marks the start of the winter schedule, the flights will be reduced to three round trips a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The summer schedule for the following year is also currently selling flights for only three round trips a week.
The aircraft used is an Airbus A321neo, featuring 8 business class seats and 180 economy class seats, totaling 188 seats. The flight duration from Hakodate is approximately 4 hours and 35 minutes, and from Taipei/Taoyuan, it is 3 and a half hours.
The route was inaugurated on February 1, initially operated on an irregular basis. In March, the service increased to one round trip per day, and for the summer schedule, it operated five round trips a week. In addition to Starlux Airlines, Tigerair Taiwan also operates five round trips a week on this route.
